Yoga for Peace is a relaxation based, progressive yoga series including Somatics, breathwork, meditation, restorative yoga, self-massage, joint freeing series, somatic movements, visualizations, and deep relaxation.

Thursday 9:30-10:45am
Gentle movement and mobility based, progressive yoga series combines gentle flow yoga sequences, including strength and balance, somatic exercises, joint freeing series, breathwork, meditation and deep relaxation.
Classes start the week of Sept. 16th 6 weeks $115 *If you miss a class you are welcome to make up by attending one of the in person or online class !

Somatic Movement Workshops Virtual: Thursday Oct. 24th 6-8pm Zoom $40 (inc GST)

An integrative workshop focussing on Somatics, including theory and practice. Understanding and practicing how the nervous system, brain, and body work together to help support healing and recovery. Learn about different trauma reflexes, and techniques to help support the nervous system's healing capacity. Workshop will include Somatic Movement Therapy, Joint Freeing Series, Relaxation Techniques including breathwork, meditation, restorative yoga, and Yoga Nidra/Savasana. Movements will have options for all participants to be inclusive and accessible. Somatic Movement Therapy has been shown to be helpful for anyone dealing with nervous system dysregulation, including trauma, chronic pain, depression, anxiety, insomnia, burnout, chronic stress, overwhelm, emotional dysregulation (anger/volatility/irriatibility etc), restlessness, and more. |

Integrative Counselling and Yoga Therapy Wednesdays (In Person @ Madhu) Thursdays (online) Kerry offers an integrative and experiential approach to support mental and physical health through an active and engaged process of healing with nervous system regulation, identifying patterns, getting unstuck, understanding emotions, and practicing self-awareness and compassion.
As a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Registered Yoga Therapist (RYT) Kerry is combining her skills and now offering 1:1 Counselling sessions online (Thursdays) through Zoom and in person at Madhu (Wednesdays). Kerry will tailor Yoga Therapy elements to be added in your counselling sessions including mind/body work of relaxation techniques, Somatics exercises, mindful movement (connecting breath and movement), self-massage, relaxing breathwork, meditation, and visualizations. These practices can then be integrated on a deeper level through journalling, expressive art techniques, or traditional talk therapy such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) as a way to reflect and process your experience. Kerry weaves Neuroscience, including Polyvagal system with compassion (Mindful Self-Compassion) into each session.
