Registration for Yoga
with Kerry Fall Semester #1 classes is now OPEN!
I know you may not be
ready to be thinking of the fall season just yet...but I wanted to let you know
that class sizes will be kept at 12 people maximum this year so space is
limited. I invite you to have a look at the class offerings and if you have any
questions, please feel to ask. Classes are open for everyone, including new
students and those new to yoga!
Class offerings:
Yoga for Peace (Mondays
6:45pm)
Sept. 19-Oct. 31 (no
class Oct. 10 for Thanksgiving)
Relaxation based yoga
class including mindful movement from Joint Freeing series, somatic movements,
and relaxation practices such as breathing techniques, meditation, restorative
yoga poses, Yoga Nidra, self-massage/tapping. Yoga for Peace is focussed on
helping support the brain and nervous system in the process of relaxation and ease.
This class may include seated, reclined, standing postures with options provided
for modifications.
Morning Flow Yoga
(Tuesdays/Thursdays 9:30am)
Sept. 20-Oct. 27th
Mindful movement-based
class including Somatic movements, mellow Vinyasa Flow yoga, and movement from
Joint Freeing Series. This class will also include meditation, breathwork, self-massage,
and deep relaxation to round out the movement practice. Morning Flow will aim
to connect body and mind through accessible movements to help the mind find
focus and release tension (physically and mentally). This class may include seated,
standing, reclined, supine, and kneeling postures with options provided for
modifications.
Mellow Flow Yoga
(Wednesdays 6:45pm)
Mindful movement-based
class including mellow Vinyasa Flow sequences, Joint Freeing Series, and
Somatic movements, combined with relaxation practices including meditation,
self-massage, and deep relaxation. This class will emphasize the connection of
breath and movement to shift into a flow rhythm to help ease the nervous system
and encourage deeper relaxation through being in the moment. This class may
include standing, seated, kneeling, supine and reclined postures with options
for modifications.
