I apologize for being MIA the last few years, trust me, I have not forgotten about you nor have I forgotten about teaching yoga :) Thank you to everyone who has reached out to me to send your love and support, I have really appreciated it!
If anything, this forced break has taught me how much I miss you, our wonderful yoga community, and the amazing practices we have shared together. I have a strong desire to teach yoga again unfortunately, I have had to deal with ongoing health issues after the concussion injury I sustained May 2017. My goal is to get back to teaching regular yoga classes, Yoga Therapy private lessons, and create new yoga video’s.
My first step is to have a “soft” start back to teaching group classes again, and I thought that Yoga in the Park would be a wonderful way to kickstart my return to yoga teaching again!
Here is the tentative plan:
Yoga in the Park
L’Ecole des Sept Sommets Park, Rossland
Tuesdays 6:30—7:30pm July-August
Gentle Flow style outdoor practice with a mix of movement, breathwork, and relaxation.
Classes will be by donation with partial proceeds to the SPCA.
This summer, I will also be available for private yoga therapy sessions. As well, I am currently exploring options for creating new yoga videos for you. Please let me know what kind of videos would appeal to you!
During my time away from Yoga I have completed my Masters in Counselling Psychology and I am in the process of becoming a Registered Clinical Counsellor. I have also been keeping busy teaching full time with SD20 at Fruitvale elementary school.
Let me know your thoughts, I am excited to be making my journey back to teaching yoga again!
With gratitude and love (and heaps of excitement),
